IPL Treatments

Intense-pulsed light (IPL) provides a fast and effective treatment of unwanted hair, pigmentation, sun spots and uneven skin tone.

IPL Hair Removal

Chromolite-EP™ IPL Hair Removal

Intense-pulsed-light (IPL) provides fast, long-term hair removal from nearly all parts of the face and body.

Suitable areas for treatment

Any area of the face or body of men and women can be treated. A course of treatments will be required due to the hair cycle. Popular areas for women include the face, underarms and bikini line. Men often choose areas such as the back, shoulders and chest.

Does it hurt?

Chromolite-EP uses an advanced IPL and cooling technology, so for the majority of people the treatment is painless. There should be no visible signs of treatment and you can immediately return to your daily routine.

Am I suitable?

Virtually all skin and hair types can be treated. At the initial consultation, you will be offered a test patch and we encourage you to ask questions about any aspect of the treatment. If your hair is completely white with no pigment, this type of treatment may not be suitable.

You should use a factor 30 sunscreen or avoid sun exposure, including sun beds, for 6 weeks before and after treatment. IPL will only be effective if you shave or trim in between treatments and you should not wax, pluck or bleach the treated hair.

Is it safe?

Yes. Our team are fully trained in IPL treatments, and safety is of paramount importance in the clinic.

IPL treatments for skin pigmentation

IPL Treatment for Pigmentation

Intense-pulsed light (IPL) provides a fast and effective treatment of unwanted pigmentation, sun spots and uneven skin tone.

Does it hurt?

The treatment of pigmentation (often called sun, age or liver spots) is extremely fast, often taking just a few seconds. Most people experience a slightly uncomfortable, flicking sensation during treatment.

Am I suitable?

Virtually all skin types can be treated. At the initial consultation, you will be offered a test patch and we encourage you to ask questions about any aspect of the treatment suggested.

Is it safe?

Yes. Our team are fully trained in IPL treatments, and safety is of paramount importance in the clinic. When treating pigmentation the surrounding skin is protected so just the spot itself is removed. You should use a factor 30 sun cream or avoid sun exposure, including sun beds, for 6 weeks before and after treatment.
