Polynucleotide treatment

Polynucleotide injection is an innovative treatment with biostimulation properties. It works by regenerating your skin after just a few treatments. Although new in the aesthetic industry, polynucleotides have been used in wound healing for decades. They are made from highly purified DNA from fish and when injected into our skin they regenerate aged skin cells to improve your skin quality.

The effects generally last between six and nine months.

Areas suitable for treatment:

  • Face

  • Neck

  • Decolletage

Benefits
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improves skin quality

  • Minimises dark shadowing under eyes

  • Increases collagen production and elasticity

  • Decreases hyperpigmentation

  • Improves redness

  • Treats skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and scarring

Does it hurt?

The discomfort level is minimal. Similar to other injections, your skin can look red and swollen afterwards but this will calm down within a few hours. You may find you have some pin-prick bleeding which may itch but it is vital to avoid touching the area for at least 12 hours. You may also experience some bruising. Polynucleotides have an excellent safety record.

How many treatments will I need?

A minimum of 3 sessions is needed and each treatment will last between 30-60 minutes.
